SCHOONER CREEK FISH TRAP:
Today the Schooner Creek trap was clean and clear. No fish, and no debris. There was snow on the road from the six mile marker up to the trap. It was slick and everything at the trap was frozen but very pretty. As I was heading back down the creek I stopped at my usual
locations to look for redds and any fish holding. In two different locations I saw a pair each of Steelhead. One pair was actively building a redd and the other were just holding in a current break. Hopefully with the next rain more fish will move up the creek.
