SCHOONER CREEK FISH TRAP:

Hank Bryson, Larry Dale and I checked the Schooner Creek trap this morning and released 4 wild, male steelhead upstream. The creek was high and there was a lot of silt buildup in the upper chamber. However, we were able to pry the front gate up and cleared out most of the debris in just a short time. We had a difficult time in getting the padlock on the trap to lock. Recommend that the next team checking the trap take up some lube for the lock.
