Siletz Fish Trap Report

Roger Wilson, Wayde Dudley and West Hutchings (son-in-law) visited the trap this morning. It was very cool. The river was about 2 feet higher than my last visit but 4 feet down from a few days ago. We cleaned the leaves and had to drain the trap the trap to find the "bonker" which had fallen into the water. Roger said a few fish are starting to show up in the Bohanan trap.

The trap held 5 Steelhead:

1 wild female

1 hatchery winter male

3 hatchery females

Saw 3 deer on the way out.

Back in town by 1140.
